Jesus doesn't save you into a life of isolation. When the gospel takes root and you trust in Christ, you are saved into a community of redeemed people called the church. A Christian's life in a local church involves the following patterns:

NEW PURPOSE
In addition to making you into a new person and bringing you into his new people, Jesus also gives you a new purpose. Your ambitions and aspirations are redeemed as you begin seeking first the kingdom of God. When Jesus changes your purpose, the following activities become higher priorities in your life:
